You can save more than one renaming rules in one file. We called it a Rule File and it can save with file extension ‘frrule’. You can load that rule file and apply it on selected group of files. All rules saved in a rule file would be applied one by one.

So purpose of saving rules in a file is to apply more than one rule simultaneously.

How to add rule:

You can see this icon near selection panel.

Please click on it and there is option to add rule. All the selected options of that panel would be added in rule manager. We call it one rule. You can add as many rule as you wanted.

How to save rule:

In Rules Manager section you can change the order of the rules and save it in a rule file. File extension of the rule file is ‘frrule’ and you can see your familiar File Renamer icon for rule file in finder.

How to apply rule:

Go to Rule Manager and select the rules you want to apply on selected files.
